10 times Meghan Markle dressed like Princess Diana

A good fashion sense reflects a lot about a person’s personality and style. Princess of Wales was one of the most stylish women of her time. Since joining the royal family, Meghan has also been proved to be fashionable with her modern looks. She never got the chance to meet her mother-in-law but they seem to have a similar dressing sense. Here are the 20 times when they twinned:

1.Denim-on-Demin:

Denim-on-Denim was a trend in the ‘90s. Women easily wore it at that time and Lady Diana pulled it off very well, as in March 1993 during a ski trip with her sons. Meghan fully rocked the Canadian tuxedo in an elite combination of chambray shorts and blazers in March 2016. This was way before she was royal.

2.Black wide-brimmed floppy hat:

Diana wore a black floppy hat during a summer holiday in 1971 and Meghan copied the same style when she attended Anzac Day services with her husband in April 2018.

3.Green dresses:

Princess Diana tried the Victorian era’s style in a velvety green dress with a matching hat. She wore this in November 1983 and looked stunning. On Sep 2013, Meghan went on with a shorter dress and a slightly different silhouette, but still a green dress. This color appears to be her favorite.

4.White and blue striped set:

Meghan gave a very casual and modern look in July’16 by wearing shorts and an open blazer with a t-shirt underneath while Diana stole the show in 1985 when she opted for this stylish jacket & skirt combo.

5.White lace halter dress:

Diana loves lace. She wore an all-white, curve-hugging halter dress in September 1996 and Meghan wore short lace when she was attending Self magazine’s Rock the Summer Event in NY City in July ’13.

6.A chic white coat:

Diana looked like a diva wearing this white coat with Versace design in Jan’1996. Meghan has worn a white coat twice. When she and Prince Harry announced their engagement to the world and the second was when she attended Commonwealth Day services with Prince Harry in March 2018, where Kate wore a similar coat too.

7.Periwinkle floral:

Diana chose to wear this purple/blue floral tunic over a white pair of pants during her trip to Saudi Arabia in Nov’1986. The Oscar de la Renta is a replica of Diana’s tunic. Meghan wore it to her first royal wedding in June 2018 with her wedding reception shoes.

8. Lacy navy dress:

Princess Diana with her shining outfit attended the Opera in Feb’1996 wearing an elegant pearl necklace. Before Meghan met Harry, she wore a long-sleeved, lacy navy dress to an event in Feb 2012. Unbelievable!

9.Green coat with black detailing:

Diana wore a green coat with black detailing when she was pregnant with her first child, Prince William, in March 1982. Meghan gave a more modern look by wearing a green coat with a black accent when she was pregnant with her first son too. Coincidence? I think not!

10.Sparkly blue dress:

Diana brought the drama to The Diamond Ball with this gorgeous sequin dress. Almost 3 decades later, Meghan wore her glittering evening gown to a Cirque du Soleil performance in Jan’19.
